A procedure that involves removing small amounts of tooth enamel to change the shape, length, or position of teeth.
The length of time for the treatment can vary depending on the type of procedure, but most cosmetic dentistry treatments are completed within one to two appointments. The result can be seen immediately after the treatment but the final result usually takes 1-2 weeks to be seen.
It’s important to note that cosmetic dentistry is not always covered by insurance, so it is important for patients to discuss costs and financing options with their dentist.
